Wedding Cupcakes

Wedding cupcakes are becoming more and more popular, and it’s easy to see why! You can choose your cupcakes to match your flowers, either beautifully wrapped as bouquets or set out on a stunning display stand.

You can have cupcake bouquets as your table centrepieces, or you can choose the larger sizes and have them displayed on a separate table for your cake. Whichever way you choose, they are guaranteed to surprise and delight your guests.

Tradition With A Modern Twist

The cutting of the wedding cake dates back hundreds of years and symbolises the first official task of the newly married couple! Often the couple share a bite of cake, to show their union and promise to forever provide for one another.

Floral cupcakes look stunning however they are displayed. They add beauty and delight to your day. I can provide you with a lovely small cutting cake to match your chosen cupcakes, so if you wish to follow the time-honoured tradition of cutting the cake together, you absolutely can!

Pricing

For weddings, the prices of cupcake bouquets and boxed blooms remain the same as my regular price lists. For individual cupcake amounts, the cost is rounded up to the nearest box price for that number (the nearest 6 or 12).

You can choose one colour option for a beautiful ‘Classic’ design, or opt for a ‘Deluxe’ design for more colour options and details.

The ‘Classic’ range are simple designs using one colour of your choice, so you can match the cupcakes to your colour scheme.

The ‘Deluxe’ range incorporates two or three colours and more details in the flowers. This range allows more flexibility for the cupcake flowers to be matched to your bouquet and flower arrangements.

The ‘Luxury’ range can be multiple colours and will be designs that include intricate piping details to make the buttercream flowers look as real as possible.

Simple Elegance Range

If you want to keep costs at an absolute minimum but still want to enjoy beautiful cupcake flowers for your special day, I have created a Simple Elegance range. No colouring is added to the buttercream, it’s natural creaminess and the 4 simple designs give a really elegant look.

The Simple Elegance range is for display stands only, whether you choose to hire one of my cupcake stands or wish to collect your cupcakes and display them on your own stand at your chosen venue.

Matching Your Theme

You can match your cupcakes flowers to your chosen theme. I will do my best to match the flowers and the colours for you.

Stand Hire

I have 2 very beautiful cupcake stands to choose from if you would like to hire either of them to display your wedding cupcakes. These stands look absolutely stunning in any venue. People gather round to admire the scene – they give a very pleasing “wow” factor!

When you hire one of my stands, your cupcakes will be delivered to the venue and set out beautifully for you and your guests to enjoy. After the event they will be collected. I contact the venue to ensure they know what size table is required, what time I can set up and when I can collect the stands after the event – you don’t have to think about a thing!

The hire fee for these stands is £50.

A deposit is also requested which is refundable upon the return of the stand(s) in the perfect condition.

Deliveries are charged per mile for forward and return journey (see terms & conditions).

You are of course welcome to arrange your own display stand. In this case, it is obviously your responsibility to ensure the desired number of cupcakes can be accommodated and that the stand is stable enough to hold them. I can help you understand how the cupcakes need to be spaced but cannot guarantee the final look, safety and display of your cupcakes.

Cutting Cakes

If you want to enjoy the tradition of cutting the cake, I can provide you with a 6″ sponge cake decorated with buttercream flowers to match your cupcakes.

These cakes are 6″ round, serving approximately 10 – 14 people depending on portion sizes. Your choice of 2 or 4 layers of Madeira sponge in either vanilla, lemon or chocolate flavour. The cake will be covered and filled with buttercream, decorated with matching buttercream flowers and presented on a white cake board.

You can choose how you would like your flowers displayed on your cutting cake from wreath, cascade, centre posy, crescent or diagonal top and bottom posies designs.

Table Centre Pieces

I also make table centrepieces using the cupcakes as the flowers.

Using designs from my deluxe and luxury ranges, these centrepieces really are showstoppers! You can surprise your guests when you announce that they can each take their cake from the centrepiece in front of them – people don’t realise they are cupcakes until you tell them and it’s a delightful surprise!

Each centrepiece holds 10 cupcakes. For table settings with less guests, artificial flowers can be placed in the gaps instead of extra cakes if you wish.

Taste Tester Box

Please email if you would like to order a £10 taste tester box. They contain 1 vanilla, 1 chocolate and 1 lemon cupcake and cost £10. These taste testers are slightly smaller than the cupcakes you will receive when ordering, but they are baked using exactly the same recipe.
